Educational Sessions
Menstrual hygiene is not limited to managing periods; it also includes creating a supportive and stigma-free environment for women. During donations as BAWSS foundation, we always have educational sessions around the whole topic of menstrual hygiene and how young girls and women can take care of themselves during this period. The organisation is working towards including the boy child, male teachers, and just male workers in general during such sessions because we believe that as young men they can be of help to their sisters, but how?
Men and Menstrual Hygiene
For men specifically, supporting menstrual hygiene means being understanding and empathetic towards partners, family members, and colleagues who may be experiencing menstrual symptoms. Simple gestures like offering a heat pack, running errands for menstrual products, or providing emotional support can make a big difference.

Briefly, promoting menstrual hygiene is a collective responsibility that benefits everyone. By raising awareness, providing access to menstrual products, and fostering a supportive environment, we can ensure that women have the dignity and respect they deserve during their periods. Let us work together to break the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation and create a world where menstrual hygiene is a priority for all.
